is streamlining and combining my Moments Captured paper crafting business until the covid-19 pandemic is over.

Custom edible Images, small cakes under 9", cookies, and custom cards will be offered.

The cards are made with Close to my Heart (CTMH) products. I'm a Maker of 4 years with Close to my Heart. I love taking the products and creating something beyond the instructions. CTMH is a paper crafting company in five global markets - USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Japan.

This graphic is based off of a real tiered cake and decorations I did for a Michaels' course.

In the beginning...

Carla's Cakes a' more was originally started in El Cerrito, California, as a home permit business, in late 2003 . There were numerous cake classes with Michaels and a few specialty classes with Sugar n Spice, Daly City, CA.

Cakes were made for family events, friends, and our neighborhood school functions.

In 2013 our family moved to Canada. In Mar 2014 until present, Carla's Cakes a' more ..., has been in operation as an ON licensed business on the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, outside of Hagersville, Ontario. We are forty minutes south of Hamilton.

Notable mentions

Free delivery was offered in 2014 but ended in July 31, 2015, as deliveries increased to urban areas.

Today, a $0.55cents/km mileage rate applies if Carla's Cakes a' more... delivers.

A one week notice for any order is required. This allows for scheduling and adequate attention to orders.
